WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:
Newborn & Sitter Posing
Watch while I demonstrate on a real newborn baby, my entire workflow. From bed & bucket props, to beanbag, birdseye & wrapped poses. But we don't stop there... I will also bring in a sitter model, where you can see how I use the same exact props to also capture the 6 month milestone phase, so you will be able to offer your clients a 'Then & Now' photoshoot opportunity..
How to Style a Cohesive Look
We will design & style an entire cohesive newborn session with several sets, props, outfits etc. You will learn how I create variety in my gallery while making minimal changes to my babies.
Client Preparation (Parents)
Dive into my workflow from start to finish & see how I prep my newborn clients for their session to ensure a sleepy baby & create artistic trust between the client & me.
Lighting/Shooting/Camera Settings
Learn how to get it right S.O.O.C!
Newborn & sitter Models will be present to learn perfect skin tones, shadows & white balance when shooting with a studio light. Everyone will have the opportunity to work first hand with me & capture shots for your portfolio.
Virtual seats will be have the ability to observe & watch me adjust in person participants so you may make the same adjustments to your workflow.
Editing Workflow
We will edit photos of the newborn & sitter models together. You will learn how I batch my edits, cull galleries, etc. for a quick & effective turnaround to help save you time & money!
Marketing and Business
Finally, we will discuss ways to help you create a stand out brand! We will talk pricing, upselling, social media, referrals, websites, emailing, staying organized & so MORE.
Special Newborn Facebook Group
Once we approach your workshop date, you will be placed into an online group where you can get to know the other attendees. This online group will remain open for 1 year after our workshop for continued support/mentoring. This is also where you will have the ability to watch back the workshop for future SILENT mentoring.
